As a rule, the lady who has inherited large establishments and large fortunes through several succeeding generations is the finest of housekeepers, and the most capable in the management of her own home. One who supposes that to be indifferent about excesses in expenditures is a proof of refined elegance and superior breeding, is altogether mistaken.
